About
My name is Taylor Bentley. I'm a Knoxville native, born and raised in the Holston Hills and Sequoyah Hills neighborhoods, and proud to be building something here in the city I've always called home.
After enlisting in the Marine Corps out of high school in 2004, my service was cut short by a serious knee injury. I took that setback as motivation. I spent years in the electrical industry, earned an AAS in Industrial Electronics, then went back to school for a BS in Marketing and Global Business from the University of Alabama, followed by an MBA with a focus on Supply Chain Management from the University of Tennessee.
That foundation led to a career that took me to Seattle, where I spent over seven years in operations leadership. I joined Amazon as a multi-site leader, then rapidly advanced into general management of a dairy distribution center. From there I took on director of operations roles in manufacturing and distribution before returning home to Tennessee as Assistant General Manager of the 750,000 square foot Red Stag Fulfillment center in Sweetwater. Most recently I have served as a Program Manager at Amerit Fleet Solutions, managing everything from customer relationships to operations to data analysis.
Coming home gave me something invaluable — time with my wife and young daughter. And it gave me space to start building something I've always dreamed of: a portfolio of businesses that my kids can inherit and grow someday.
Bentley Portfolio Group is that foundation. What starts with Last Call Vending and Volunteer State Signing Services is just the beginning. My vision includes expanding into real estate and other scalable business opportunities across the Knoxville metro area.
If you have an opportunity, partnership idea, or venture where my background in operations, supply chain, and business development could add value — I'd love to hear from you.
